In keeping with that ethos, she's just launched a nine-piece capsule with Italian label Gianfranco Lotti that's exclusive to Net-A-Porter. “There’s a sense of fun and happiness to the collection, she says. “[The styles are] whimsical but elevated, and designed to be carried 24/7.”
How have you been carrying the collection? "I wore a Palmer Harding sheer shirt dress and a Loewe black leather corset to a party the other night, the look was edgy and sexy- I softened it with the cream coloured mini bag. For day, I love wearing monochrome looks - my Tibi red top and matching culottes was a perfect canvas for the navy tote. For travel, the Galaga tote is a favourite; it’s roomy enough for everything I need inflight yet not so large that I need to dig for my wallet and passport when going through security! Lastly, I will be dressing my daily uniform of jeans and a leather jacket with all of the bags!"
Advice for those daunted by colour? "Ease into it with accessories! It’s hard to pull off a rainbow look head-to-toe, but even the simplest black suits or dresses will look festive with an added kick of colour from your bag."
The style secret you swear by? "A good tailor is my secret weapon. I also buy things that fit me well in multiples. My Ellery wide flared pants for example- I have it in white and black in different fabrics- they elongate my legs and look amazing with everything."
